Singer-songwriter Halsey pregnant: Halsey took to her Instagram to announce that she is pregnant with her first child with Alev Aydin, who is a writer, producer, and director based in Los Angeles.

The 26-year-old shared a series of pictures, in which she can be seen cradling her baby bump and captioned the photo "Surprise!".

Commenting of Halsey's post, her partner Aydin wrote, "Heart so full, I love you, sweetness." The Without Me singer replied to Aydin's comment, writing, "I love you!!!!!! And I love this mini human already."

The soon-to-be mommy is yet to share further details regarding her pregnancy.

Talking about her plans to embrace motherhood during an interview in February 2020, Halsey told The Guardian that it was “looking like something that's gonna happen for me. That's a miracle." The singer also revealed that she had suffered a miscarriage, revealing that it was the “most inadequate I've ever felt.”

"Here I am achieving this out-of-control life, and I can't do the one thing I'm biologically put on this earth to do. Then I have to go onstage and be this sex symbol of femininity and empowerment? It is demoralizing," the superstar singer said.

Last year, Halsey openly talked about her bipolar diagnosis and revealed she had been “committed” twice since gaining fame. “It’s been my choice,” she told Rolling Stone in an interview, about her mental health. “I’ve said to (my manager), ‘Hey, I’m not going to do anything bad right now, but I’m getting to the point where I’m scared that I might, so I need to go figure this out.’ It’s still happening in my body. I just know when to get in front of it,” the artist noted. Halsey also spoke up about spending 17 days in a psychiatric ward after a suicide attempt while gracing the cover of Marie Claire magazine, back in 2018.
