Four Girl Students Drown In River In Tamil Nadu
Four girl students who had gone to Tiruchy to take part in a football tournament drowned in the Cauvery river in the Karur district.
15 students were taken to participate in a tournament and decided to take a bath in the river around 10 am. Suddenly, four students started drowning in the river. The school's headmaster and the two teachers who accompanied the students were suspended.

Woman Forgets Artwork On Flight, Stranger Comes To Rescue
A California-based artist, Alyse Dietel, left behind valuable sketches she made in the overhead bins but did not receive any help from the airlines.
The 29-year-old took to social media and posted an appeal about the lost artwork, and an airline employee, Irek Michal, offered to help her. He found the artwork and shipped it back and refused to let Dietal pay for the shipping charges. Instead, Michal asked her to donate the shipping amount to a charity.
Female Journalists Targeted In Iran Protests
Activist groups say that female journalists in Iran were targeted by security forces since anti-government protests. Nearly 20,000 people are estimated to have been detained since September. More than 520 protesters have been killed by security forces.
Report Reveals 18 Percent Of Indian Startups Are Women-Led
A report by the National Association of Software and Services Companies (Nasscom) revealed that 18 percent of the startups in India are led by at least one woman founder or co-founder.
The report also found that between 2019 and 2022, 17 percent of investment deals in India were raised by startups with women leaders.
