Gender Reveal In Mexico Goes Horribly Wrong, Plane Crashes In Cancun Killing Two.

Gender reveal in Mexico: In Mexico, a gender reveal went wrong as a plane streaming a sign about a baby girl plunged into the water off Cancun.

Reportedly, it killed two people on board as the would-be parents and their guests watched in horror from a boat. However, whether or not the victims were the pilots of the aeroplane has not been revealed.

The US Sun reported that on Tuesday, about 3:30 pm, the expecting couple, their family and friends were watching the flyover in great delight in the Nichupte Lagoon off the coast of the resort city. As soon as the guests screamed, "It's a girl", the single-engine Cessna 206, which was rented from a company called Xomex, performed some stunts, according to the outlet. A person on the boat jokingly said that it was good if it didn't end up crashing into them. "It's all good as long as it doesn't end up crashing into us!", he said making a light-hearted joke.

Unfortunately, the comment almost came out as true as the aeroplane plunged into the lagoon. What had been a joyous celebration, turned into a nightmare. A local attendee screamed, "Surely this can't be happening!".

The local media reported that there were about two or four passengers aboard the plane that took off from Holbox, around 40 miles from Cancun. According to La Prensa Latina, Francisco Fernandez Millan, the President of the Nautical Association of Quintana Rao, said in a statement that one of the boarders died while the rescue operation was being carried out. The outlet reported that another person died while receiving first-aid from the first responder. It has not been revealed whether or not the people who died were the pilots.

An investigation into the tragedy has been launched by The Federal Civil Aviation Agency.
