(G)-IDLE's Soojin officially withdrew from the Kpop girl group, read a statement from the group's managing agency. This came after the bullying allegations from years ago which were made against the singer by a Korean actor.
After the bullying allegations from different parties surfaced, the company that handles the group (G)-IDLE, Cube Entertainment said in their statement, "We will continue to do our best and provide unstinting support so that (G)I-DLE can show their growth in music and performance."

After the accusations of bullying by Seo Shin Ae surfaced on the internet, many netizens were demanding clarifications from the singer regarding the issue. Seo Shin Ae is a Korean actor who accused the singer from the Kpop group (G)-IDLE Soojin of bullying which was one-sided and targeted to her. Seo Shin Ae also added that she had to transfer to a new middle school because of the alleged insults and attacks directed towards her.

Soojin replied to allegations with a long message. She named the accuser 'B' and wrote about the things she experienced through her school life and also what she recently found out.
She ended the note by writing, "We will be collecting evidence and taking legal action against all those who made up false rumours and these people will be judged by the law. If it turns out that I did something wrong, then of course I will take the punishment given and leave the group. However, the truth about what I have not done will come to light."
After her allegations, the group's managing company replied to the allegations made by the actor. To this Shin Ae made a vague post on her social media account with the words "None of your excuse."
After this debate went on for some time, fans took two sides between the singer and the actor. Soojin officially withdrew from the group. Reacting to this many Kpop fans have expressed their disappointment.
The group (G)-IDLE debuted with the song Latata. The group has also given songs like Senorita', 'Uh-Oh', 'Lion'. Their other songs included Hanna (Alone), 'Dumdi Dumdi' and 'Hwaa'.
