Filmfare OTT Awards 2021: Samantha, Konkona Sen Sharma, Huma Qureshi Win Big

Filmfare OTT Awards 2021 awards took place last night and as expected, few shows dominated over others, picking up trophies in bulk. It was Hansal Mehta's Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story that dominated the awards, across both technical and popular categories, followed by Raj &DK's The Family Man.

The event was graced by actors Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Sanya Malhotra, Radhika Madan, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ananya Panday, Abhimanyu Dassani, Taapsee Pannu, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Manoj Bajpayee, Konkona Sen Sharma and Shreya Dhanwanthary among others.

Hindi web original shows or films that were released on OTT platforms between August 1, 2020 to July 31, 2021 were considered eligible for the Filmfare OTT Awards 2021. While Bajpayee picked the Best Actor's trophy in the critic's category (drama) for OTT shows, Prateek Gandhi won the trophy in the popular category. Huma Qureshi was named Best Actor (female) in a drama series for her show Maharani, and Best Actor, Series (Female), Drama trophy went to Prabhu.
