Yet Another Drunk Man Allegedly Molests Air Hostess On Flight

Incidents of misbehaviour by drunk men on flights have increased lately. The recent case of the drunk man who urinated on a fellow female passenger is still not resolved when another incident was reported where a drunk male passenger allegedly molested the air hostess on board.

Air hostesses are often subjected to sexist and disrespectful behaviour on flights. There have been reports of passengers sexually harassing them, verbally abusing them, and physically assaulting them.

Recently, a similar disappointing and outrageous incident was reported from an Indigo flight. A male passenger allegedly molested one of the female cabin crew members after consuming alcohol on the flight.

Drunk Man Molests Air Hostess

Indigo's 6E 1428 flight from Dubai to Amritsar was mid-air on Saturday, May 13 and was supposed to reach Amritsar by 8 pm the next day. Everything was going fine until a male passenger started misbehaving with the crew members after consuming a considerably high amount of alcohol on the flight.

The crew gave several warnings to the man, identified as Rajinder Singh hailing from Jalandhar, Punjab's Kotli village. The man allegedly molested an air hostess on board in a drunken state without paying heed to the crew's warning.

The air hostess reported the incident to the Amritsar control room and described the entire situation after which a complaint was lodged by the assistant security manager.

The crew on board handled the situation carefully and waited till the flight landed to rectify the situation. As soon as the flight landed at the Shri Guru Ramdas Ji International Airport, the crew reached out to the police and got the man arrested for his inappropriate behaviour. The man is currently in custody and investigation is underway as the complaint filed by the crew.

This is not the first time that a male passenger has misbehaved in a drunken state on a flight. Recently, a man urinated on a female senior citizen passenger mid-air on a flight and the case is currently under process in the court. In another incident, a drunk passenger made sexual comments to a fellow female passenger on a flight and asked her to make love with him.
