Debina Bonnerjee Infected With Influenza B Virus, Writes, "Staying Away From My Babies"

Debina Bonnerjee has confirmed having caught influenza B and is recovering away from her young children. She went on to say that being a mother is "not easy" because she has been forced to stay away from her children since the influenza B virus was discovered in her system.

Recently, Bonnerjee celebrated Valentine's Day in Sri Lanka with her two daughters, Liana and Divisha, and her actor-spouse, Gurmeet Choudhary.

On Tuesday, the actor posted a brief video of her newborn daughter lying down and covering her face. In addition, she added the following caption to her Instagram Stories: "When mamma bear is still ill, baby bear is busy watching parents." She additionally shared a photo of the results from her diagnostic tests, along with the following message: "You got the influenza B virus, then. Well, hold on, mom. I'm now avoiding children. Being a mother is a difficult job." She also mentioned her symptoms, which included fever and a cough.

According to her spokesperson, who was quoted in an ETimes report, the actor is recovering at home, taking precautionary measures, eating healthily, and making sure her children are taken care of. Additionally, he added that Bonnerjee is recovering and will come back stronger.

Debina and Gurmeet shared photos last month from their first trip outside of Sri Lanka since becoming parents. They also went to the Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai on February 22 to commemorate his birthday.

After portraying Sita and Lord Ram in the 2008 TV series Ramayan, Bonnerjee and Choudhary gained notoriety. The couple first met on the set, fell in love, and were married in 2011. The couple has taken part in a number of reality TV contests and shows, including Nach Baliye 6 and Pati Patni Aur Woh. In addition, Bonnerjee has made guest appearances in a number of TV shows, including Aladdin: Naam Toh Suna Hoga, Tenali Rama, Santoshi Maa, and Chidiya Ghar.

Debina Bonnerjee and Gurmeet Choudhary welcomed their first daughter, Lianna, in April 2022, several years after getting married in 2011. Eight months later, in November 2022, they welcomed their second daughter, Divisha.
