The show was first launched on March 8, 2014, in over 50 countries across the globe. Following the overwhelming response it generated, Doordarshan decided to telecast it on DD India too.

The plotline is simple. Why are we so scared of talking about sex or any other private topics that Indians shy away from? The protagonist, Dr Sneha, juggles her work and family and takes up challenges that threaten her freedom.

The show deals with fundamental rights, gender insensitivity, child marriage, early pregnancies, domestic violence, female stereotyping, sex selection etc.

It is surprising that we are a billion people and yet we still don't think sex education is as important as science or arts! In fact, sex education can help youngsters deal with many of their problems.

The show airs every Tuesday and Wednesday at 10.30 am on DD India and every Saturday and Sunday at 7 pm on DD National. It is sponsored by stars like Farhan Akhtar, Sharmila Tagore and Soha Ali Khan. After a successful journey of the first and second seasons, the channel is preparing to launch its third season soon.
