The Education Minister has announced that the CBSE board examinations of class 10th and 12th will start from May 2, 2021, and it will go till June 10. The minister also informed that the practical examinations will start in March and the results will be announced by July 15th.
The announcement of the commencement date was made live at 6 pm today, on the education minister’s social media handles. However, the datesheet was not released. The same will be released by the board in due course of time. Ramesh Pokriyal earlier made it clear that the board exams will not the in January or February so students were expecting the exams to take place after that.

The Education Minister had earlier told ANI that the date of class 10th and 12th board exams were decided after consulting with several students, parents and teachers. He had also said that the exams will not be held in online mode.
“During these difficulties, we have done a lot of work online, but our goal is to reach the last students,” he had said.
