Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party leader D Revathy was caught on camera physically assaulting a toll plaza worker at Kaja Toll. The incident happened after the politician was stopped when she allegedly refused to pay toll tax. YSRCP is a regional political party in Andhra Pradesh that was founded by politician Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy in 2011.

In the video, D Revathy can not only be seen slapping the toll worker, but also pushing the barricade erected to stop vehicles to the floor.

Andhra Pradesh state secretary for BJP Rameshnaidu Nagothu criticised D Revathy for her conduct in a tweet, calling her behaviour "Pure display of arrogance. YSRCP leaders think they can do anything because they’re in power."
