“I almost killed myself a year ago because of Piers Morgan’s relentless campaign of lies and hatred against me last February. I’m glad I’m still alive today for many reasons, " she tweeted.
Jameela Jamil's latest revelation comes after Piers Morgan's departure from the Good Morning Britain programme. ITV, which produces Good Morning Britain, said Tuesday: “Following discussions with ITV, Piers Morgan has decided now is the time to leave Good Morning Britain. ITV has accepted this decision and has nothing further to add.” He did this after his comments against Meghan Markle garnered severe backlash. He has now been replaced by Ranvir Singh.
The British actor couldn't control her happiness which was more than evident in another tweet. In her tweet, she hoped that no minorities would have to defend themselves on the show while Piers screams over them.
