MP Woman, 23, Dies Of Cardiac Arrest While Dancing At Cousin's Wedding

A 23-year-old woman allegedly died of a cardiac arrest while dancing on stage at a wedding in the Vidisha district of Madhya Pradesh. The woman, Parinita Jain from Indore, had come to her cousin's wedding; however, she passed away on stage at the 'haldi' ceremony. A video of the incident has been circulating on social media, where Jain is seen collapsing all of a sudden during the performance.

According to a report in NDTV, family members and doctors present at the wedding tried to give Jain CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), however, she didn't respond. She was rushed to a private hospital, where doctors declared her dead. According to official information, one of her younger brothers also died of a heart attack when he was just 12. 

The incident has raised concerns among netizens, echoing several similar cases in recent times.

Bride Dies During Wedding Festivities

A destination wedding in Uttarakhand's Nainital took a tragic turn when the 28-year-old bride from Delhi reportedly collapsed while dancing at her mehndi ceremony on June 15, 2024. Shreya Jain was rushed to the hospital, however, the doctors pronounced her dead. Her last rites were held at Kathgodam before the grieving family returned to Delhi. Bhimtal SHO Inspector Jagdeep Negi told the Times of India that Jain likely succumbed to cardiopulmonary complications.

Shreya Jain was set to marry a Lucknow-based man working at an IT company on June 16, 2024. The families had planned a destination wedding at Parichay Resort in Naukuchiatal, Nainital. Bhimtal SHO Inspector Negi stated that Jain's family requested no further legal proceedings and conducted the cremation.

Groom Dies On Wedding Day

In April 2024, a groom from a village in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, suddenly experienced chest pain and died in the middle of his wedding rituals, according to the TOI. The man, Neetu, was declared dead on arrival at the hospital. He was 22 years old and was reportedly in good health condition before the incident.

According to reports, the entire village had been engrossed in Neetu's wedding festivities. He was set to marry a woman from  Chaharwala village. He decided to visit a temple before going on the procession, but fell ill and collapsed. Despite attempts to revive him with CPR, Neetu remained unresponsive. 

Bride's Teen Sister Dies Of Heart Attack

In another case from April 2024, an 18-year-old woman reportedly collapsed and died while dancing at her sister's wedding in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. The tragic incident was caught on camera, where the deceased, identified as Rimsha, can be seen dancing with her friends and family before she suddenly collapsed. 

According to NDTV, since the incident happened two days before the wedding and all arrangements were made, Rimsha's family went ahead with the wedding in the presence of close family members without any music.
