The domestic earnings of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has surpassed Captain Marvel’s earnings of $426.8 million, Wonder Woman’s earnings of $412.8 million, and Black Widow’s earnings of $183.65 million. The domestic earnings of Black Panther 2 currently stand at $431.5 million.

Black Panther 2 sees Wakandans banding together with Everett Ross and Nakia to have a better kingdom. Queen Ramonda, M’Baku, Okoye, Shuri, and Dora Milaje fight as an elite group of warriors to protect their world after King T’Challa’s demise.

Even after running for more than four weeks in the theatres, the movie seems to be doing well for itself. The holiday season only seemed to boost the box office numbers for the movie. Black Panther 2 has been closely competing with Avatar: The Way of Water in the theatres.

Black Panther 2 has been predicted to fall a little short of Doctor Strange 2’s $955 million. The movie reportedly earned a revenue of $799.5 million on Christmas. The original Black Panther movie allegedly collected $100 million in China in 2018 which in turn made a $1.3 billion worldwide gross contribution. However, China has been reported to have banned Black Panther 2 owing to ‘specific themes’. There are conjectures of it affecting China’s profit, owing to China having a large population.
