Parliamentarian's Car Attacked With Stones, Rods: Who Is Ranjeeta Koli?

Koli is a Lok Sabha member representing BJP from Bharatpur. She was elected to her role in 2019. Koli is part of a prominent political family in Rajasthan, with her father-in-law Gangaram Koli having been a three-time BJP MP from Bayana constituency.

On Thursday night, when she visited Dharsoni, some people with an SUV tried to stop her car. When her driver sped away, they attacked the vehicle, as per PTI.

Former Chief Minister of Rajasthan and BJP leader Vasundhara Raje condemned the attack, writing on Twitter, "What can be a bigger proof of the poor law and order situation of the Rajasthan government that even the MP is not safe. You can guess what will happen to the common man."

Other BJP leaders too have drawn attention to the incident and police have assured due action in the case.
