Bill Gates Thought Jeffrey Epstein Would Help Him Get Nobel Peace Prize?

Gates-Epstein Row: Bill Gates was allegedly courting the convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein in an attempt to get closer to a Nobel Peace Prize.

The DailyBeast quoted an unidentified source working at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. They said that when the PR team of the foundation raised concerns over the association between Bill Gates and Epstein, they were told that it "was a manoeuvre to try to get himself a Nobel Peace Prize."

This new allegation on Bill Gates acts as a catalyst to an already lit fire. Since Bill and Melinda Gates announced divorce, several new third parties have been blamed for causing a rift between the couple. Out of the others, Jeffrey Epstein name has been in the news for his alleged association with Bill Gates.

The source also claimed that the Microsoft billionaire was holding meetings with Jeffrey Epstein since 2011 when Epstein was already a convicted felon. This reportedly was disapproved by Melinda Gates and caused the couple to grow apart.

According to reports on Tuesday, Bill Gates had gone on a trip to Europe with Epstein in March 2013. They had visited Thorbjorn Jagland, who was the then-chair of the Peace Prize committee.

Jagland confirmed the same. "They came to my Residence with their respective delegations,” Jagland wrote in an email of the visit, " he wrote in an email to Dagens Næringsliv, Norway's Business newspaper.

The anonymous staffer at the foundation also said that Bill Gates "thought that Jeffrey would be able to help him, that he would know the right people or some kind of way to massage things, so he could get the Nobel Peace Prize". The source added that Bill wants Nobel Peace Prize "more than anything in the world."

They also claimed that Melinda Gates was aware of Bill Gates' extramarital affairs during his marriage and that "she was humiliated and did not like it".

A spokesperson for Bill Gates gave a statement on the allegations and said, "Bill Gates regrets ever meeting with Epstein and recognizes it was an error in judgment to do so."

They added that it is “absolutely false to state that Bill Gates set the Nobel Prize as a goal or campaigned for it in any way." They also said that if Epstein had any connections within the Peace Prize committee or wanted to insert himself, "Gates nor anyone he works with was aware of his intentions."
