Bihar Mother-Son Duo Thrashed: A video showing a mother-son duo living in Bihar being flailed by a group of men is doing rounds on social media. Reason? The duo was speaking out against a dentist who allegedly molested her during the routine check-up she went for.

The woman, in the video, claimed that she had gone for a routine dental check-up on Saturday. The son was waiting outside the checkup room of the clinic which is located in Madai Chowk area under Hajipur Nagar police station when the incident took place.
He reportedly rushed inside the checkup room on hearing her mother's protests to the dentist's obscene advances and saved her.

"The doctor molested me and tried to rape me. He made obscene advances towards me. I protested and my son intervened. We were thrashed by his goons for protesting against this," the woman said, as reported by India Today.
The woman has also filed a molestation complaint. An FIR under relevant sections of IPC has also been registered.
The dentist's brother, on the other hand, dismissed the woman's allegations as false. Moreover, he filed a complaint against the woman claiming that she refused to pay the fee for her visit. He has filed an FIR citing the same reason.
According to sources, she wasn't the only woman who has fallen prey to his sexual misconduct. The dentist is notorious for misbehaving with women. Unfortunately, no one filed a formal complaint against him.
A similar incident was reported two months ago in Bihar. A woman from the Bhagalpur district in Bihar alleged that one of the staff of the hospital sexually harassed her in the hospital where she was getting her COVID-19 positive husband treated.
In a viral video, the woman narrated her ordeal saying that he had pulled her dupatta and had kept his hand at the woman's waist. Read more about the case here.
