Bengaluru porn addict husband: A woman from Karnataka took her husband to court for allegedly harassing her after she objected to his porn addiction habits, as per reports from Bengaluru. She alleged he spent money on talking to call girls at night and mistreated her by giving her stale food to eat.

A case was filed against him and the police women's wing is probing the matter. The 36-year-old complainant said she previously raised the issue with her in-laws who urged her to give the man a chance but he allegedly did not show any signs of reform.

1. The complainant and the man tied the knot in 2019, as per Times of IndiaShe paid lakhs worth of dowry, she says. After marriage, she discovered her husband's alleged porn addiction habits.

2. Reports suggest he also created an account on a matrimonial website, despite being married, and titled himself a divorcee there. He was subscribing to various pornography channels and chatted with call girls.

3. "He started harassing me for objecting to his conduct. His parents too supported him," reports quote the woman's petition as stating. She claims she was also abused and that her husband refused to change.

4. The woman approached a First Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (ACMM) court in Bengaluru in the matter. Pursuant to court orders, investigation has been taken up by police in Basavanagudi, which is bordered by Jayanagar where the woman complainant is based.

5. A similar case surfaced from Mumbai in 2017 when a woman took her husband's porn addiction matter to court. She claimed her matrimonial life was "destroyed" due to his habits. Raising concerns over the damage being caused to "family values" in India because of porn websites, she demanded a ban on them.
