As per reports, she was selected as a sweeper staff in Municipal Corporation right after her state service examination. Waiting for the results, Kandara had to have a source of income. This is why she spent her two years sweeping the streets of Jodhpur.

The results of Rajasthan Administrative Services 2018 (RAS-2018) were announced on July 14 and Asha Kandara found her name in its merit list. Kandara's success is the result of her hard work during the tough times in her life.
