Asaram Bapu Convicted In Rape Case

Nine years after a woman who was a former disciple of Asaram Bapu lodged a rape case against him, a court in Gandhinagar, Gujarat convicted him.

Sessions court judge DK Soni acquitted six other accused, including Asaram's wife Laxmiben, their daughter, and four disciples who were accused of aiding and abetting the crime.

Asaram Bapu, 81, is currently serving a life sentence in Jodhpur jail for raping a minor girl at his ashram in Rajasthan in 2013.

Drunk Woman Causes Chaos On Flight To Mumbai

A 45-year-old woman, Paola Perruccio, from Italy was arrested by the Sahar police after she caused a ruckus on a flight from Abu Dhabi to Mumbai. She allegedly insisted on sitting in the business class despite having an economy class ticket and assaulted the cabin crew.

The woman later took off some of her clothes and walked up and down the aisle in a partially naked state.

Marilyn Manson Sued By Woman Who Alleged Singer Sexually Assaulted Her

Marilyn Manson is facing a lawsuit filed by a woman who alleged that the singer sexually assaulted her when she was a minor in 1995, and later when she was an adult.

The lawsuit came after a settlement was reached in a lawsuit brought by Game of Thrones actor Esme Bianco, who filed the suit claiming that Manson sexually assaulted her.

Russian Teen Faces Jail For Criticising Ukraine War

A 19-year-old girl from Russia's Arkhangelsk region is under arrest and facing years in prison over social media posts. Authorities claimed that the young girl, Olesya Krivtsova was using social media to discredit the Russian army and justify terrorism.

She has been added to the list of terrorists and extremists, on par with the Taliban, for posting an Instagram story which criticised Russia for invading Ukraine.

Couple Assaults Woman After Her Dog Charges Toward Their Son

In Mumbai, a couple allegedly assaulted a 24-year-old woman after her dog charged toward their 10-year-old son. The duo claimed the boy fell and suffered injuries after the dog suddenly charged towards the child.

The couple assaulted the woman with a wooden plank, causing injuries to her nose and legs.
