Shocker: Prison Guards Raped Woman To Came To Visit Her Husband

According to reports, the woman and her husband had been jailed a few months ago in a case of fake marriages in Barwani.

Alirajpur Prison Guards Arrested cellular jail
Two prison guards of Madhya Pradesh's Alirajpur district have been arrested for allegedly raping a woman who had come to meet her husband.

The police said on Wednesday that the alleged incident took place in August 2021 but the complaint was filed last week. After that, the guards were arrested by the police.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Manoj Kumar Singh said that the accused guards have been arrested under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act earlier this week.

Alirajpur Prison Guards Arrested For Alleged Rape:

According to reports, the woman and her husband had been jailed a few months ago in a case of fake marriages in Barwani. The husband was later shifted to the Alirajpur jail and the wife was released on parole. When she came to visit her husband in the jail in August last year, the two prison guards allegedly took her to their government residence and raped her.

The woman was later transferred to the same jail of Alirajpur district. That is when she narrated her ordeal to her husband. They told their family members to file a case.

Cases of Crimes Against Women and Girls:

a 15-year-old tribal girl was allegedly raped and murdered on December 23 2021 in Bundi, Rajasthan. The post mortem report of the minor revealed that she was raped even after her death. The police had confirmed rape and then murder after primary investigation but were waiting for the autopsy. As per the police, the girl was allegedly strangled with her dupatta when she tried resisting the attempts by the three men. The autopsy report revealed that there are over 30 injuries to the deceased girl's private parts and her body has scratch makes and bruises all over.

The Superintendent of Police Bundi, Jai Yadav said, "I have never seen such a ghastly incident in my life. Members of the Bundi Bar Association have also declared that they will not defend the accused in court."
