Filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar and Model Alicia Zafar Welcome Their First Child

Filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar and his spouse Alicia become parents for the first time. Zafar shared the good news on his Instagram account on 25 September. He revealed- he and Alicia were blessed with a baby girl on Saturday 24 September. Bollywood celebrities and their fans congratulated them in the comment section.

Ali posted a picture of his wife cradling her baby bump as she leaned against a wall to announce the good news. In the caption, he wrote an adorable note for his wife and revealed the name of their daughter too. 

Zafar wrote, "Alicia and I began our journey with love, love which is beyond borders - colour and race, we are very fortunate that we found each other and got married, Now after almost after 2 years we are thankful to Almighty Allah for blessing us with a most beautiful gift of our life."

Further added that the little angel came into their life on 24th September at midnight 12.25. Please welcome the bundle of Joy - Alija Zehra Zafar. Ali also made a pun about his, Alicia's, and Alija's names at the end of the caption and wrote, Ali Alicia Alija. #Aliverse.

Anushka Sharma and Bhumi Pednekar dropped emojis to congratulate them, whereas Priyanka Chopra wrote, "Congratulations to you both." Ranveer Singh remarked, "Bhai," while Arjun Kapoor noted, Sunil Grover commented, "Best!! Wah Sir wah!! Mubarak Ho!!.

Gauahar Khan wrote, "Blessing and more! Heartiest congratulations." Welcome, Alija!" Huma Qureshi wrote, "Congratulations… Masha Allah," Kritika Kamra, Neha Bhasin, Karishma Kotak, Ayesha Khanna, and Hiten Tejwani also offered congratulations to the couple.

Director Ali Abbas Zafar on January 3 celebrated a year of being married to Alicia Zafar. Ali tied the knot with Alicia in a private ceremony in January 2021. Zafar has timely shared glimpses from his personal life and marriage on Instagram. Earlier, while updating about his first marriage anniversary, he wrote, “One year of living in a dream, happiness, silly smiles and feeling alive in every moment, thank you Almighty for Alicia Zafar."

Zafar made films like Sultan, Tiger Zinda Hai, and Bharat. He released his recent Netflix film Jogi, starring Diljit Dosanjh. His next film release list includes an action movie with Shahid Kapoor, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan with Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, and Super Soldier with Katrina Kaif.
