As per a report by CNN, many families paid men eligible for evacuation to United States of America to marry their women just so they could fly out of the country. The US officials have said that families of Afghan women forced them to marry at the evacuation centres in UAE. This has made many women victims of human trafficking during the already terrifying crisis.

The US diplomats are reportedly expected to help the UAE in identifying such cases. The US State Department will be coordinating with the Homeland security and Defence Department in tackling the issue, as per the report.

On August 30, the US troops left and Taliban established its control over the Kabul airport which was occupied by the US troops. This marks the final exit of United States of America from Afghanistan after over 20 years of war in the country. The US invasion in Afghanistan was essentially to remove the fundamentalist organisation, Taliban's terror from the country. However, the Taliban will now form the authority in Afghanistan and will possibly establish a legitimate government.

During the earlier the rule of the Taliban, women were stripped of their basic human rights. They were not allowed to attend school, do jobs, be part of the government or even step out of the house without a male relative.

After the recent take over, the Taliban has maintained that they will not repeat the human rights crimes. They have said that women will be allowed to take education and can take up jobs. However, the recent reports have proved otherwise.

As per reports, the Taliban have banned travel for women who are not accompanied by a male family member. The groups helping Afghan nationals escape the country have told people to not reach the country's frontiers unless they are being pursued by the Taliban.
