The Perils of Gwendoline and After Midnight actor Tawny Kitaen, 59, started off her acting career in 1976. She was also seen in the music videos "Is This Love," and "Here I Go Again." She was a resident of Newport Beach and used to help the survivors of domestic violence at her location.

Who was Tawny Kitaen?

Julie Kitaen was a media personality, actor and comedian in the US. She was later nicknamed Tawny during her modelling career. She is best known for her work in the movie Bachelor Party in which she starred against Tom Hanks.

Tawny started off modelling in 1983 when she appeared on the cover of back-to-back albums by heavy metal band RATT. Kitaen was in love with Ratt guitarist Robbin Crosby while still in high school and followed with his band to LA in the late '70s. She was featured on the album page of the band's album "Out of the Cellar" with their first EP "Ratt."

Tawny married Whitesnake lead singer David Coverdale back in 1989, but the marriage lasted only two years. She went on to marry baseball star Chuck Finley - who had two daughters with her - and the end of that relationship was tragic. Finley allegedly said that she kicked him repeatedly in the face in high heels and was charged with domestic violence. He filed for divorce three days later. Then, Tawny defended the plea and joined the domestic violence counselling program.

Kitaen also appeared in RATT's music video for "Back for More". In the year 1987, Whitesnake, another music video became a hit and Tawny became famous as the video vixen. Later in "Here I Go Again," she showcased her talent in acrobatics.
