Actor And Filmmaker AnnaRose King Passes Away At The Age Of 35

AnnaRose King is survived by her husband Michael Charles Telis, and their four-year-old daughter, Willow Rose King Telis.

Actor and filmmaker AnnaRose King passed away on January 3 after a three-year-long battle with cancer. The 35-year-old writer-director was the daughter of executive producer Roger King who also served as the chairman of King World Productions. King is best known for her 2016 film Good Enough which was inspired by the death of her father.

According to King's family, she passed away at Memorial Sloan Kettering hospital in New York, following her battle with lung cancer.

Born in Manhattan, AnnaRose King grew up in Beverly Farms, Massachusetts. She completed her bachelor's degree in Diplomacy and World Affairs from Occidental College, and went on to earn her Masters of Fine Arts degree in Film Production from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University.

King is also known to be the force behind American Viral, a web-series about a family dealing with internet fame after a video of theirs goes viral. Some of her other directorial projects are Spanish Rice, Kat & Eis, Crystal Sessions, The Actress and Stood Up.

She had established a fund for cancer research at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Texas and was also the founder of Young King Productions.
