The Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS) court in Mapusa town granted bail to Ramachandra Mandrekar and Dattaprasad Gaonkar, who are accused of distributing drugs.

On August 23, Phogat (43) was brought dead to a private hospital in Anjuna. She was allegedly given an "obnoxious" drug mixed with water to drink, according to the police.

Sudhir Sagwan and Sukhwinder Singh, two of her coworkers, were detained on a murder charge. The Central Bureau of Investigation just received the case investigation. Currently, a CBI team is in the region.

According to officials, the team went to both the partially demolished Curlies restaurant where Phogat partied and the hotel where she was staying.

The CBI reconstructed crime scenes at the Goa restaurant and the Leoney Grand Resort in Vagator on Sunday, which led to the latest development. To recreate the scene, two teams were formed. The central agency also recorded a video and even took photos of the murder site. The group also consists of forensic specialists.

Manohar Lal Khattar, the chief minister of Haryana, had earlier on Sunday informed the late actor's family that the investigating agency will look into Phogat's death because they weren't satisfied with the Goa police's inquiry.

Sonali Phogat, a prominent TikTok video creator, ran as a BJP candidate in the 2019 Haryana election. She was defeated by Kuldeep Bishnoi, the then-leader of the Congress party, who has since joined the governing saffron party. In 2020, she also made an appearance on Bigg Boss.
