Shweta Tiwari Refutes Claims Of Abandoning Her Son Made By Ex-Husband

Actor Shweta Tiwari has now hit back at her ex-husband Abhinav Kohli's accusations that she abandoned their son Reyansh after she left for South Africa. She refuted his claims by saying that she had informed Kohli about it, and that Reyansh is safe with her family.

"My mother, my relatives, and Palak are there to take care of him. Plus, I will always be on video calls with Reyansh in between my shoot. I had informed Abhinav Kohli of everything and I was surprised yet again to see the video he posted."

"I really don’t understand the agenda behind it, given that he speaks to Reyansh in the evening over call for about one hour, every day, without fail as per the High Court’s order, " she said in a statement.

Shweta Tiwari says that Abhinav Kohli gets to talk to their son everyday

Shweta Tiwari then added that Abhinav gets to speak to his son for more than 30 minutes everyday, and still claims to not know about how Reyansh is doing. She also said that she was ready to take her entire family with her to Cape Town, but Abhinav Kohli didn't give his consent which is required.

Shweta Tiwari then said that she doesn't understand his claims of her abandoning their child. She said that she is a single mother, and needs to work to sustain her family.

Abhinav Kohli took to Instagram to make a series of accusations against his ex-wife. In the Instagram video, he says that he didn't allow Shweta  to go to Cape Town due to the rise in COVID-19 cases. He then went on to claim that he had no idea about Reyansh's whereabouts. In the end, he appeals to his followers to help him in finding his son.

Meanwhile, Shweta has flown to Cape Town, South Africa for the shooting of the reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 alongside Nikki Tamboli, Divyanka Tripathi, Abhinav Shukla, Rahul Vaidya, among others.
