Who is Manish Raisinghan? In a spate of rumours, the television actor was previously linked to his former Sasural Simar Ka co-star Avika Gor. Allegations and fan theories at the time claimed Raisinghan and Gor had a secret love child together.
Refuting these rumours in a recent radio interview, Gor, 23, said Raisinghan was almost her father's age and that the two have always been just friends. "It's impossible! No way!" she said when asked about the rumoured love child and relationship. "We are very close, even now. He'll always have a very space in my life. In my journey from the age of 13 till now, he has been the closest friend that I've ever had." Read more here.
On Colors TV show Sasural Simar Ka, Raisinghan played Siddhant, the husband of Gor's character Roli.
Gor further added in her interview, "I've learned so much from him. He's 18 years elder to me, by the way. When I saw how he keeps the child within him alive, it is a big thing to learn."
Who Is Manish Raisinghan?
On the big screen, Raisinghan has appeared in Madhur Bhandarkar's Heroine. He has served in various editorial and directorial roles for short films as well. In an interview this year, he said he owed a lot to producer Ekta Kapoor. "She believed in me and I owe a lot to her for my second innings, my improved avatar as an actor," he said.
Raisinghan is a popular face on Hindi television, with over a dozen shows to his credit. His most popular shows include Kaahin Kissii Roz, Sapna Babul Ka... Bidaai, and Teen Bahuraniyaan. He has also made guest appearances on two seasons of reality show Bigg Boss.
Raisinghan married television and film actor Sangeita Chauhan last year.
