Who is Karanvir Sharma: Indian television and Hindi-films actor Karanvir Sharma was recently seen in the film A Thursday alongside actor Yami Gautam which aired on OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar. The actor is known for playing several roles in Bollywood films and Indian television as he completed ten years in the entertainment industry in 2022. Karanvir Sharma started his acting career with the film Sadda Adda in 2012.

Karanvir Sharma is a known face in the Indian household because of his appearances in daily soaps including Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani in which he played the role of Shaurya Sabherwal. Along with that, he is also seen in OTT series like Haq Se on Alt Balaji and Love Sorries on MX Player. The actor has also worked in a number of commercials and is usually known for playing the roles of the guy-next-door.

Karanvir Sharma is also seen in Bollywood films including Zid, Azhar, Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana and mostly recently, A Thursday.

Who is Karanvir Sharma?


Indian actor and model Karanvir Sharma has also worked as an Assistant Director for many projects. He holds a MBA degree and pursued his acting classes from Anupam Kher’s acting school. According to reports, the actor was born in Pakistan and spent  his initial years there before moving to India.

Sharma started his career as a model and is also trained in dancing and martial arts. Along with amassing a following of 4,61,000 on Instagram, the actor has won several television awards including Universal India Award for Best Trendsetter of the Year and Best ITV Jodi for Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahaani in 2021.

Karanvir Sharma played the role of Rohit Mirchandani in drama-thriller A Thursday in which Yami Gautam, who features as a playschool teacher kidnapping 16 students. The actor has been lauded for his impressive performance in the film.
