A ‘gym-selfie’ of the Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt and Bengali actor Jisshu Sengupta went viral since the latter shared it on his Instagram handle. Bhatt, who is currently in Hyderabad for the shooting schedule of SS Rajamouli’s RRR, bumped into her former co-star from Sadak 2 in the gym.

During the work-out session at the Hyderabad hotel’s gym, Jisshu roped in Alia for a selfie. Previously, speaking about his co-star Alia Bhatt, Jisshu said that her passion for her craft is “really commendable”. “Her heart is always in her work and she is no doubt amongst the finest actors in Indian cinema today,” the actor said.

-The 44-year-old began his career with the television series Mahaprabhu, which aired on Doordarshan.

-The actor gave critically acclaimed performances in Rituparno Ghosh directorial The Last Lear, Shob Choritro Kalponik, and Chitrangada.

-His film Shob Choritro Kalponik went on to win the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Bengali in 2009.

– Sengupta was seen in Shyam Benegal’s biographical war film titled Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose: The Forgotten Hero. That was his debut movie

-Sengupta was spotted in Anurag Basu’s directorial Barfi! He made his comeback in Bollywood with a small cameo in this critically acclaimed film.

-Besides proving his mettle in Bengali cinema, the actor has also delivered note-worthy performances in Hindi films such as Shakuntala Devi, Sadak 2 and Durgamati.

-The actor would also feature in the upcoming film Antim: The Final Truth starring Salman Khan, Aayush Sharma and Pragya Jaiswal in the lead roles.
