Ali Fazal emotional note: Actor Ali Fazal posted a touching note on his mother’s death anniversary. The actor’s mother passed away last year. Fazal often posts about his mother and how he misses her.

June 17 marks the first death anniversary of actor Ali Fazal’s mother who passed away last year. To commemorate the day the actor took to Instagram to share a special post dedicated to her. “Topsy turvy world indeed,” the actor wrote which refers to Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland.

The post features a video of his mother who is filmed by Fazal. “Where is God? There’s no sense of balance in this world,” his mother said as she ended her sentence with the same phrase, “Topsy turvy world”.

Fazal emphasised that the grief he experienced after his mother’s death is still there. The actor wrote that the grief has been tightening its grip on him every other day and reminds himself of one thing. “I am a mere mortal just glorifying my memories with poetry and dubious writings on the walls,” the actor wrote.

Ali Fazal in the note referred to his mother as Alice. He added that when he read her old diaries, his mother often insisted that her reason for existence was Fazal himself. “You stupid, stupid Alice. Go away. Circle back and join me ahead. We both astray in a topsy turvy way..” the actor wrote.

Fazal ended the note by saying, “The world hangs upside down.”

Actor Richa Chadha chose to respond to the post in another poetic paragraph writing, “I will hold you tight and the warmth from my embrace will melt away the thick layers of grief”.

Fazal also shared his grief last year after his mother’s death. “You were the source of my creativity. My everything,” he wrote.
