LEGO has designed fabricated sets for everybody from Harry Potter-heads to Star Wars enthusiasts to FRIENDS fans. Presently in the festival of Pride Month in June, the company delivered its first-historically speaking LGBTQ-themed set, "Everyone Is Awesome".

The buildable presentation model utilises the shades of the Progress Pride Flag (adding black, earthy coloured brown, light blue, pink and white to the known colours of a rainbow). It's an image of love and acceptance for the LGBTQIA+ group and highlights 11 monochrome mini-figures each with its own individual haircut and rainbow tone. The 346-piece set has gone on special sale from June 1.

Matthew Ashton, the brand’s vice president of design said in a statement, " Everyone is unique, and with a little more love, acceptance and understanding in the world, we can all feel freer to be our true AWESOME selves! This model shows that we care and that we truly believe ‘Everyone is awesome’!"

He mentioned that he wanted to create a model that symbolises inclusivity and celebrates everyone, no matter how they identify or who they love. Matthew also mentioned that this set is a celebration of the LGBTQ+ community among the LEGO group and the adult fans and lovers of LEGO.

LEGO's "Everyone Is Awesome" set is a step ahead in making toys more inclusive in a world where we embrace diversity of all kinds. Another example of inclusivity is the DJ Cara Barbie model launched on International Women's day this year.
