Srinivas, a diligent 23-year-old auto-rickshaw driver, and Pinki, a 22-year-old transgender woman, embarked on a journey that would forever change their lives.

Their connection began five years ago in the quaint town of Narsampet, nestled in the scenic Warangal district. Srinivas and Pinki formed an extraordinary friendship that blossomed over time. Recognising the depth of their emotions, Srinivas, originally from the Warangal district, and Pinki chose to elevate their relationship by getting married and formalising their union at the temple. On Saturday morning, the couple embarked on a sacred journey to Vemulawada, seeking the blessings of the divine.

Despite being a college graduate, Srinivas earns his livelihood as an auto-rickshaw driver in Hyderabad.  Their decision to take this significant step demonstrates their commitment to each other and their willingness to defy societal expectations. Their story serves as a powerful reminder that love knows no boundaries and that true happiness lies in embracing the journey, regardless of the circumstances.

 Similar Incident:

In a previous incident, Nilan Krishna and Advika, an engaged couple, encountered a significant hurdle when they opted to get married at the Thiru-Kachamkurissi temple last year. Unfortunately, due to their being transgender, the temple officials allegedly denied their request to hold the wedding ceremony on the premises. Consequently, the couple had to relocate the wedding to a nearby hall.

According to the temple official, their decision was based on their general policy of not approving love marriages without the consent of the couple's parents and relatives. The official also expressed concerns about potential legal and law enforcement complications that could arise from such weddings taking place at the temple in the future.
