A second installment of the comedy special Yearly Departed will premiere this December as well, bidding farewell to 2021 the year that was. It will be hosted by Emmy Award-nominee Yvonne Orji of Insecure fame. Some of the famous women comedians will roast the year 2021.

The show will feature an all-female line-up like last time. The detailed list of guests will be announced soon. However, Yearly Departed. The host Orji is a Nigerian-American actress and comedian.
Yearly Departed will launch this winter exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
“In my career, I’ve been fortunate to work on a show that was created by Blacks, for Black characters, and now, I get to host a special that was written by all women, featuring a lineup of incredibly funny female comedians, directed by a talented female director and produced by a group of amazing female producers. I guess lightning CAN strike twice!” said Yvonne Orji.
The Season 1 was a one-hour special featuring Phoebe Robinson, Rachel Brosnahan, Tiffany Haddish, Patti Harrison, Natasha Legerro, Sarah Silverman, Natasha Rothwell and Ziwe. It was a funeral-like setting where everyone bid farewell to the year 2020.
Bess Kalb will continue as the head writer and Linda Mendoza will direct the show like last year. The special will be filmed following all COVID protocols.
