The multilingual action thriller Yashoda, starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu, is soon to be released on an OTT platform. The movie is based on the illegal activities occurring in an organisation that offers people, surrogate mothers.
In her movie Yashoda, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, one of the top actors in the South, plays a surrogate mother. The title refers to Yashoda, the foster mother of Lord Krishna, and Prabhu plays the title character in the story, a woman who joins a surrogate programme out of desperation to find her missing sister. When details about the upscale surrogate facility become public, things begin to go awry.
In addition to Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, the movie also stars Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Shatru, Sampath Raj, and Kalpika Ganesh in significant roles. On November 11, the film was released in theatres to mixed reviews. The film is produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad and directed by the duo of Hareesh Narayan and K. Hari Shankarand.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s Yashoda To Stream On OTT On This Date
The streamer revealed on Tuesday that Yashoda will start streaming on Prime Video on December 9. According to a press release, the Telugu film will also be available to subscribers of the Amazon streaming service with dubs in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
Narayan said in a statement, "We were confident that the audience would find Yashoda to be an exciting adventure worth watching when it was being written. The team's outstanding work, Samantha's performance, and other factors have all paid off. We are overjoyed with the reception the movie has received nationally and are eagerly anticipating reactions from audiences around the world."
