Youngistaan is a 2014 Hindi-language political film starring Jackky Bhagnani, Neha Sharma, and Farooq Sheikh. The film is a remake of the Telugu film Leader(2010), in which Rana Daggubati and Richa Gangopadhyay star. The story follows Arjun Prasad (Daggubati), who succeeds his father as chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, and his fight against the corruption that plagues the political system. On the other hand, Youngistaan, received a poor response because it neither said anything new nor reinforced time-tested advice in a way that you actually wanted to pay attention to.

Tevar is a 2015 Hindi-language action film in India that is an approved remake of the Telugu film Okkadu from 2003. Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha star in the remake, which also features Manoj Bajpayee as the main antagonist. Mahesh Babu, Bhumika Chawla, and Prakash Raj appear in the original film, which was a box office hit. Tevar did not perform well at the box office, nor did it receive favourable reviews from the public or critics; it was just a case of poor direction, screenplay, and execution. Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu became an overnight celebrity after his performance in Okkadu, which won many honours.

Bachchhan Paandey is an action comedy film starring Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Arshad Warsi, released in 2022. It's a remake of Jigarthanda, a Tamil film released in 2014 that was inspired by A Dirty Carnival, a South Korean film released in 2006. The storyline of Bachchhan Paandey was going to be a remake of the Tamil film Veeram, but the producers changed the storyline to create something new. Siddharth, Bobby Simha, Lakshmi Menon, Karunakaran, and Guru Somasundaram appear in the original film, which won two national honours. The remake, on the other hand, has a compelling story, but most of it was shown in a trailer that lasted less than two minutes. Bachchhan Paandey has no consistency.
