Who is Zaheer Iqbal: Sonakshi Sinha took to social media Friday to drop a birthday wish for actor Zaheer Iqbal, who is rumoured to be her boyfriend. "Happy birthday to who could possibly be the most annoying human being on this planet. Also who could possibly be the most amazing human being on this planet," she wrote, alongside two pictures of the duo.

"Thank you for being born," she added, tagging him as her 'best best friend.' The photos on Sinha's post are doing rounds on the internet, with fans speculating on the relationship between her and Iqbal, claiming they might just have made it "Insta official."

Iqbal too left multiple comments under Sinha's post, one of which read, "Can officially call u my heroine also now." In another comment he wrote, "But she’s my best friend yaaaaaa 🤣❤️🤗😘"

Iqbal is an actor in the Hindi film industry and made his debut with Notebook, produced by Salman Khan, in 2019. Notebook was also the debut film of actor Pranutan Bahl. Though both lead actors received praise from critics, the film failed to perform well at the box office.

Iqbal is the brother of celebrity stylist Sanam Ratansi.

Sinha and he will co-star for the first time in the upcoming film Double XL, which is slated for release next year and is directed by Satramm Ramani. He and Sinha both marked their entry in Bollywood with projects backed by Khan; Sinha's debut film was Dabangg.
