Who is Simran Bagga? This is a question on everyone's mind ahead of her on-screen reunion with R Madhavan for their upcoming movie Rocketry. Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, is all set to release on July 1, 2022. The movie is based on the life of scientist Nambi Narayanan, a Padma Bhushan awardee.

Simran Bagga and R Madhavan will reunite again on screen after 17 long years for Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. The couple's chemistry was much talked about as when they earlier shared screen space in Paarthale Paravasam (2001) and Kannathil Muthamittal (2002). Taking to social media, Actor R Madhavan posted about this reunion with the caption-  "15 years later... Thiru and Indira turn into Mr. and Mrs. Nambi Narayanan," he wrote in his post. Rocketry: The Nambi Effect which is slated to release on July 1st is helmed by R Madhavan under the banner of Tricolour Films.

Simran Bagga, known as one of the most versatile actors of her time, has worked in the Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada film industries. Bagga hails from Mumbai and was born in a Punjabi family to Ashok and Sharda Naval in 1976. Born as Rishibala Naval, Simran has three siblings Monal, Jyothi Anand and Sumeet Naval.

Bagga completed her schooling at St. Anthony's High School, in Versova. She has two kids with her husband Deepak Bagga, Adheep Odo, and Aadit Veer. Simran who was inclined towards drama and dancing ever since her school days. She took up acting in 1995, and made her debut in a Hindi movie called Sanam Harjai. Bagga has been a part of many successful films throughout her career, paired along with famous actors including Rajanikanth and Nagarjuna.
