After surviving for 42 days, Sana Makbul emerged victorious on Bigg Boss OTT 3, winning the trophy and a cash prize of Rs 25 lakh. She defeated her rapper friend Naezy, with Ranvir Shorey finishing as the second runner-up and Sai Ketan Rao in fourth place.

After lifting the trophy, Sana Makbul addressed comments suggesting favouritism on the show. She said in an interview with India Today, "That is not the case. I am appalled at these comments. Honestly, Big Boss would scold me time and again throughout the journey. There was no favouritism at all. There have been times when my contract has been discussed, I was called entitled, and I was literally put in a spot during the Weekend Ka Vaar. If I were a favourite, I wouldn't have been the most hated."

Sana also talked about how her determination to win was often questioned, but she felt it was her moment to shine. "I have been offered ‘Bigg Boss’ so many times in the past, but I couldn't do it for my health and other reasons. I also wanted my heart and mind to align, and I felt this was the moment. There have been people who have even questioned why I did not show so much passion during ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’. However, that was such a new experience for me, and I didn't even expect it to last a week. I took my time, but I knew this was my season," she explained.
