Who is Ritu Rathee? Gaurav Taneja, YouTuber- pilot who was recently in the news for his arrest, went on a meme-sharing spree on his Instagram.

After a large group of people turned up for his birthday party, at a metro station, Gaurav Taneja was arrested by Noida police.

The spotlight is now on Ritu Rathee, Gaurav Taneja's wife after he jokingly trolled and shared memes about her on his Instagram page. Noida Police arrested Gaurav after a large number of people turned up to his surprise party, thrown by his wife Ritu Rathee, amid prohibitory orders in Gautam Buddh Nagar.

After being released on bail, Gaurav started sharing memes about his arrest on his birthday. Ritu Rathee, his wife organised his surprise which ended in his arrest. He shared a post jokingly mocking her, with the caption -“Thank you all for the lovely wishes. You guys made my day. Also thanks to @riturathee for making it the most memorable birthday. LITERALLY #flyingbeast.”

Who Is Ritu Rathee?

Ritu Rathee, wife of Gaurav Taneja is now under the spotlight after his post. Ritu Rathee hails from Gurgaon, Haryana. She did her schooling in Blue Bells Model School in Gurgaon and has a BSc in Chemistry from St. Stephen's college Delhi.

A pilot and youtube, Ritu Rathee has earlier said, " I was never a desk person, and was very good in Maths and Science. I never wanted to get into engineering, but a friend's suggestion to become a pilot got me thinking. It was not that I dreamt of becoming a pilot, but once I started flying, it turned into a passion." She did her pilot training in Arizona, US.

Ritu Rathee married a fellow pilot and YouTuber, Gaurav Taneja, on February 5, 2015, after dating for over a year. She has two kids Kairavi and Chaitravi. Gaurav Taneja runs three YouTube channels 'FitMuscle TV'(a fitness channel) Flying Beast (a daily vlog channel) and 'Rashbhari Ke Papa' and has 1.2 million subscribers.

Ritu Rathee has three siblings, Prateek Rathee a YouTuber, and two sisters Seema and Nisha Rathee who is a cabin crew. Ritu is also a social media influencer with over 1.4 million followers and has appeared in a reality tv show with her husband Gaurav named 'Smart Jodi'
