Who Is Pooja Purandare?
Pooja Purandare is an actress best known for her role in the Marathi television programme Sundara Manamadhe Bharli. The actress’s work was well regarded, and as a result, she rose to prominence in the Marathi television business and won the hearts of many.

On her social media, Purandare recently came out against trolling. She mentioned that she had experienced internet bullying and emphasised the need not to ignore any threats. She decided to report the offender to the police and seek legal action against them. In addition, she threatened to exact revenge by releasing the person’s details to the public.

Who is Pooja Purandare?

  • Purandare was born in Pune, Maharashtra, on December 23, 1994. In 2017, she wed Vijay Adlankar, a well-known Marathi television actor.
  • Purandare received her secondary education from the Karnataka Junior College and her high school education from the Pune-based P.Jog High School. She received her B.Com degree from Smt Kashibai Navale College of Commerce.
  • Purandare began her acting career in the Marathi television industry, and is best known for television programmes, including Kiti Sangaychay Mala on Colors Marathi, Devyani, Nakushi, and Lakshay on Star Pravah.
  • The two most well-liked characters of the actor are Gayatri in Sundar Maz Ghar and in Sundara Manamadhe as Kamini. Sundara Manamadhe also stars Pranav Prabhakar, Gauri Kiran, Sameer Paranjape, Akshaya Naik, Pramitee Narke, Hrishikesh Shelar.
  • Purandare has also performed in several plays, including In Living, Devachiye Dwari and Talatla Varg.
  • She recently talked against trolling on social media. She reached out to her fans on Instagram with the message, “Cybercrime alert. Since the past few days, I was getting some DMs and post tags, and story mentions from one particular account which was very demeaning, abusive & threatening. Initially, I ignored it thinking that the perks of working in this industry, everyone at some point of time face this hatred or trolling on social media.”
  • She further said, “But yesterday it made me really upset and I have decided not to tolerate this negativity anymore. I have filed a complaint against that person. This person tried to damage my image on social media hence that person’s name, picture and other details I will be putting it out on social media, Don’t tolerate it, Speak up for yourself, Spread happiness always.”
