Singer and composer Palaash Muchha has spoken publicly about his relationship with cricketer Smriti Mandhana for the first time. The couple has largely kept their personal lives away from the limelight, and Palaash explained why. “I am very shy in public and an introvert. People don't believe it, as I have a lot of friends, and I've been on the stage as well. But even whenever I pose during events and parties, I feel very shy,” he shared.

While Palaash prefers privacy, he did express admiration for Smriti. “I feel very proud, obviously, because I am her partner, boyfriend till now. I'm very proud of her achievements. But I like to keep my personal life private. This is the time I should work as much as I can,” he said.
However, their relationship became a topic of public interest earlier this year during the Women’s Premier League (WPL). Recalling the experience, Palaash admitted, “It was a very uncomfortable situation for me because during WPL, I didn't know that I was on camera when I was meeting her on the field. I didn't realise it; otherwise, I would not have been on the ground. But now, it's everywhere. Even in my shows, people keep shouting RCB, RCB.”
When The Couple Celebrated Fifth Anniversary
The couple celebrated their fifth anniversary in July, and the celebration pictures went viral on Instagram. Palash Muchhal shared a few pictures of himself with the Indian women's T20I team skipper, cutting a cake to mark the occasion. In the caption, he simply used the number five and a heart emoji. Smriti responded with three heart emojis, and the post also received replies from Palash’s sister Palak Muchhal and other celebrities.
Popular Bollywood singer Palak Muchhal commented on her brother’s post, writing, "My cuties." Actor Parth Samthan also responded with a heart emoji, and actor Rubina Dilaik commented, "You both."
Previously, Palash shared a video of himself teaching Smriti how to play the piano.

Palash Muchhal is not just a music composer but also a director. His sister, Palak Muchhal, is a well-known Bollywood singer who has sung for actors like Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan. Palash has directed almost 40 music videos for various music companies, like Buddy Music, Zee Music Company, and T-Series. He also directed the film Ardh, starring Rajpal Yadav and Rubina Dilaik, and received the prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke Excellence Award for Best Debut Direction.
