Who Is Lothika Jha? The Voice Behind Doobey Song From Gehraiyaan

Netizens seemed to be mesmerised by the sound behind the song featuring Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi from their upcoming movie Gehraiyaan. Lothika Jha is the voice behind the Doobey song that has been appreciated not only for the filming but the unique voice of the singer. 

The movie Gehraiyaan will be released on February 11, 2022, and can be watched on Amazon Prime Video.

Who Is Lothika Jha?

Lothika Jha is the assistant producer at Prime Focus Technologies which is the creator of Enterprise Resource Planning software for the media and entertainment industry. In her role, she has also created for FOX brand of channels for Disney South East Asia. She is also acting as a promo producer involved in acting, music, and overall execution for new cuts, reversions, and channel repacks.

She completed her Bachelors in Creative Arts from Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design, and Technology. 

In 2018, she was the Assistant Creative Supervisor at Drishyam Films and directed Saawariya featuring Naresh Kamath and Shilpa Rao. Jha is also a creator and is exploring the art of storytelling through all possible means to challenge and develop her creative skills.

Her main education is in Film studies as she aspires to become a film director in the future. Due to this, she has explored pre-production and production as the creative supervisor, assistant director to post-productions.

Lothika Jha has previous experience of working with Discovery Inc as Assistant Producer and Zigzag Films as second assistant director.

She is present on Instagram with her virtual account name as luceamma with over 4000 + followers. The song Doobey released on the YouTube handle has been designed by Ankur Tewari and composed by Kabeer Kathpalia and Savera. Within seven days, the song has garnered around 39 million ">views.

The lyrics have been written by Kausar Munir and sung by Lothika Jha. The movie directed by Shakun Batra about modern-day complex relationships will release on February 11, 2022, and can be seen on Amazon Prime Video.
