Singer Arjun Kanungo is all set to tie the knot with his long-time girlfriend Carla Dennis on August 10. Their wedding reported to be a three-day affair, will take place in Mumbai in the presence of family and close friends. Arjun, who got engaged to Carla in November 2020, said the marriage was long due.
Kanungo and Dennis have been together for over six years and got engaged in November 2020. Kanungo is a popular singer best known for tracks like Baaki Baatein Peene Baad, Aaya Na Tu, Fursat Hai Aaj among others.
Who is Carla Dennis?
Carla Dennis is a South African native, born and raised in Cape Town. She works as a model and actor in India. was She was also among the finalist for the Kingfisher calendar 2010. Apart from appearing in commercials, Dennis also has starred in Kiara Advani starrer Bollywood film Machine in 2017.

Dennis first met Kanungo on the sets of his single Baaki Baatein Peene Baad and speaks flew. The two soon started dating.
Dennis in an earlier interview confessed spoke about accepting each other's different cultures and how it has impacted her relationship. She said, “Since I’m from a very different background it can be challenging… but we feel that love conquers all. Even though we follow different religions and cultures, we can make it work. We respect each other and each other’s families. It’s not only with religion I guess, for a relationship to work in general, you have to meet each other halfway and accept each other completely.”
Kunungo proposed Dennis in November 2020 but the pandemic stalled their wedding. Now, the pair is all set to marry this year in August.
Kunungo said that while Dennis and her family are not from India, they are “gung-ho about our traditions and are excitedly working on their Indian wedding attire and prep."
He also added that the couple was planning on hosting a white wedding in April 2023 in the United Kingdom. He said that the white wedding was for “Carla and her near and dear ones”.
