Who is Barbiee Sharma? The child actor is starring in actor Esha Deol's comeback film, Ek Duaa, the trailer for which dropped Monday.

The film directed by Ram Kamal Mukherjee and produced by Deol is set for a premiere on online streaming platform VOOT. It sees Deol and Sharma as a mother-daughter duo caught in the crosshairs of gender oppression and their pursuit for equality.

Ek Duaa traces the life of Abida (Deol) as she "struggles to amplify the voice and the right to equal love" for Duaa (Sharma) "in a family that shuns the girl child," as per the film's synopsis.
