The series follows the life of a mild-mannered gift shop employee named Steven Grant who has blackouts and often gets the memory of another life. He soon discovers that he has dissociative identity disorder, which is a mental health condition wherein a person has multiple and distinct personalities and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector.

Their enemies have converged upon them and Marc/Grant needs to urgently navigate through the complex identities. Alongside, they need to delve into the mysterious powers of the powerful gods of Egypt. The mini-series has a strong star cast including Oscar Isaac, Ethan Hawke and May Calamawy in pivotal roles. Isaac will be playing the lead role of the Moon Knight/ Moon Spector, Hawke will be playing the role of Arthur Harrow and Calamawy will be playing the character named Layla El-Fouly.

The series has six episodes and each will be released on a weekly basis online. It is created by Jeremy Slater and produced by Kevin Feige, Louis D'Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Grant Curtis, Brad Winderbaum, Oscar Isaac, Mohamed Diab and Slater.

Episode one releases on March 30, episode two on April 6, episode three on April 13, episode four on April 20, episode five on April 27, and episode six on May 4.

This superhero web series comes after Hawkeye. This same process of releasing one episode a week was followed by the studios during the shows like Loki, Wanda Vision, Hawkeye, amongst other recently released superhero thematic shows.
