Moon Knight new episode release date on Disney Plus Hotstar is in the coming week. The show updates one episode every week on the OTT platform since its release on March 30, 2022.

Moon Knight is an American miniseries on Disney Plus Hotstar that started streaming on March 30, 2022. The show is a part of Marvel Cinematic Universe and the sixth miniseries of the franchise. The series is created by Jeremy Slater and is an action fantasy. A Marvel Studios Production, Peter Cameron is the producer of the series. The announcement of the series came in August 2019 and the production began with the view of making it a multi-season series instead of a limited one.

Moon Knight New Episode Release Date

Moon Knight is based on Marvel Comics character of the same name that was introduced in 1975. According to the comic, the story revolves around Marc Spector, a former Marine and CIA operator, who turns into a mercenary and later a superhero.

A strange turn of events ends him up in a deadly fight with a fellow mercenary after which he dies only to revive again, apparently because of Khonshu, an Egyptian God wants him to devote his life to protect the innocent people. Initially considered a patient suffering from dissociative identity disorder (DID), he later turns into Moon Knight, a super hero who defends the innocent and weak.

Moon Knight's alter-egos include, superhero with a costume, Moon Knight, a businessman Steve Grant, consultant Mr. Knight and taxi driver Jake Lockley. In the show, Marc is seen suffering from DID and giving of darker vibes as compared to other MCU characters. The show stars Oscar Isaac as Marc Spector aka Moon Knight. The supporting cast includes May Calamawy, Karim El Hakim, Khalid Abdalla, Ethan Hawke, Antonia Salib, David Ganly and Ann Akinjirin.

The shooting of the show took place in Jordon, Georgia, Budapest, Atlanta and Slovenia. The 6 episode long series releases one episode after every seven days. The first episode released on March 30, followed by episodes 2, 3 and 4 on April 6, April 13 and April 20 respectively. The last two episodes will be releasing on Disney Plus Hostar on April 27 and May 4, 2022.
