Taylor Swift has announced her new album on her social media handles and all the swifties can't keep calm. After her popular release of Folklore and Evermore in 2020, this time Swift brings out songs about stories from a few vulnerable times in her life.

Taylor Swift has released several songs and the famous redo of her album Fearless (Taylor's version) in 2021. Her fans also called swifties have been waiting for the singer-songwriter to come out with another album. On Sunday, 28th August 2022, Taylor Swift bagged the Top prize at the MTV Video Music Awards. She received the award for her 10 min long short film All Too Well: The Short Film, it was claimed as the best long form video and direction.

Taylor Swift Announces The Release of New Album: Midnights

As she received her award Swift said, "I thought it would be a fun moment to tell you that my new album comes out Oct. 21," as she hinted about her upcoming album. Later, on her social media handles Swift elaborately wrote about her album and what should her fans expect from this one. She wrote, "Midnights, the stories of 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout my life, will be out October 21. Meet me at midnight."

While describing the album Taylor Swift has written that "We lie awake in love and in fear, in turmoil and in tears. We stare at walls and drink until they speak back. We twist in our self-made caged and pray that we aren't - right this minute - about to make some fateful life-altering mistake. This is a collection of music written in the middle of the night, a journey through terrors and sweet dreams. The floors we pace and the demons we face." She continues, " For all of us who have tossed and turned and decided to keep the lanterns lit and go searching - hoping that just maybe, when the clock strikes twelve... we'll meet ourselves."

When Is Midnights Releasing?

Midnights will be released on October 21, 2022. The album is said to have 13 tracks. Midnights will be Swift's 10th album after she released Folklore and Evermore in 2020 with a gap of 5 months. Folklore also received the Grammy Awards for album of the year.
