Four More Shots Please 3
Damini, Umang, Sidhi and Anjana will be coming back soon in 2022. Watch them explore different aspects of love, blunders, relations and friendships, all the while backing each other up. The series reportedly shot its final schedule in April and is expected to return by the end of the year on Amazon Prime Video.
Farzi
Starring Shahid Kapoor, Raashii Khanna and Vijay Sethupathi, this upcoming new release on Amazon Prime Video will be Shahid Kapoor's digital debut. The story will see Shahid as the centre of a world of counterfeit money and black market and the fans will get to watch a lot of action, crime, bravado, scams, corruption and dark humour.
The Family Man 3
Manoj Bajpayee's Srikant Tiwari along with Chellam Sir and JK will be back in 2022 with more nail biting investigations while dealing with his personal problems and family issues. The plot of season 3 is expected to be about Covid-19 pandemic and China's attack on India's North-Eastern states. The series will star Manoj Bajpayee, Sharib Hashmi, Priyamani, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Neeraj Madhav.
Dahaad
Dahaad is a new serial killer drama series on Amazon Prime that will be releasing in 2022. The series stars Sonakshi Sinha as a police officer from a small town who investigates a serial killing case that has deeply affected her and the people of the town.
Aashram 3
Bobby Deol's popular web series Aashram will be returning with its season 3. The new season will feature Baba Nirala's growing power in the politics as he declares himself the God. However, his own people like Friday Bhopa seem skeptical about it and soon Baba will face hurdles in the path of his success. The series will also feature Esha Gupta in the new season that will be releasing on June 3 on MX Player.
Hush Hush
This new Amazon Prime women centric series will star Ayesha Jhulka, Juhi Chawla, Soha Ali Khan, Karishma Tanna, Kritika Kamra, and Shahana Goswami in pivotal roles. The show will feature stories about the challenges that their characters face while they come across an event that brings all of them together.
Asur 2
This crime thriller starring Arshad Warsi, Barun Sobti, Ridhi Dogra, and Anupriya Goenka released in 2020 and became a fan favourite. The series will return with its season 2 in 2022 and this time it will reportedly be a psychological thriller with even more exciting elements. The shooting of the film wrapped up in January 2022 and it is expected to release soon.
Fear 1.0
Starring Tisca Chopra, Rajesh Tailang and Saurabh Shukla, this new Hotstar Plus series is expected to release in second quarter of 2022. Not much is revealed about the plot of the series but it will be a horror thriller and the first look for it was shared back in July 2021.
Breathe 2
Amazon Prime Video included the second season of Breathe in its 2022 announcements. The crime thriller series starring Abhishek Bachchan, Ivana Kaur, Amit Sadh, Shruti Bapna, Saiyami Kher and Nithya Menen is about the story of a father, suffering from multiple personality disorder, who is ready to commit any crime to save his daughter from a kidnapper.
Adhura
An Emmay Entertainment production, this Amazon Prime supernatural thriller will star Rasika Dugal and Ishwak Singh in pivotal roles. The series is about a prestigious boarding school that harbours deep, dark and dangerous secrets that will turn the fate of the school and people related to it upside down.
Pataal Lok 2
The fan favourite mythological crime thriller Pataal Lok will return with season 2 on Amazon Prime in 2022. Based on the themes of underworld, swarg and narak, the series stars Jaideep Ahlawat, Abhishek Banerjee, Ishwak Singh and Niharika Lyra Dutt and the story revolves around a dissatisfied inspector who gets the task to investigate a high profile case.
Made In Heaven Season 2
The fans should get ready to hear he wedding bells soon as our favourite Delhi wedding planners, Tara Khanna and Karan Mehra will be back with crazier and grander elite weddings. The duo will plan marriages while dealing with their own personal dilemmas. The series stars Sobhita Dhulipala, Arjun Mathur, Jim Sarbh, Shivani Raghuvanshi, Shashank Arora and Kalki Koechlin.
Jubilee
Starring Wamiqa Gabi, Aparshakti Khurana, Aditi Rao Hydari and Prosenjit Chatterjee, this new Amazon Prime series will release in 2022. This periodic drama's story is about the birth of the Bollywood and the events and dreams of the post Independent India that led to rise of Indian cinema.
Mirzapur 3
Among the most anticipated releases of 2022 is Amazon Prime's Mirzapur season 3. The story is about two families from a small Uttar Pradesh town whose fates are intertwined. Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyenndu and Shweta Tripathi will be returning with their iconic characters of Kaleen Bhaiya, Guddu Pandit, Munna Tripathi and Golu Gupta.
Delhi Crime Season 2
The popular crime series starring Rasika Duggal, Shefali Shah, Rajesh Tailang, Avijit Dutt and Adil Hussain in pivotal roles is expected to return with its season 2 on Netflix on 2022. The series will probably feature the Delhi police department tackling another crime case in the city.
Crash Course
Starring Annu Kapoor, Udit Arora, Bhanu Uday, Pranay Pachauri, Chirag Vohra, Siddharth Kak, Bidita Bag and Gaurav Sharma, the show will soon be releasing on Amazon Prime Video in 2022. The story is about the rivalry between two coaching institutes namely RJ Institute and Batra Institute and the affect it has on the life of the students.
Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 2
Stranger Things will release the second part of its penultimate season on July 1, 2022 on Netflix. The 2 episodes long series is expected to be epic as the part 1 consisted 7 episodes while the second one got only 2. The episode 8 and 9 will be titled Papa and The Piggyback and will be around 1.5 and 2.5 hours long respectively.
Code M Season 2
This is crime web series will be returning with its season 2 on Alt Balaji and Zee5 on June 9, 2022. The show features Jennifer Winget, Tanuj Virwani and Swanand Kirkire and will be 8 episodes long. The story of season 1 revolved around Major Monica Mehra who tries to solve a conspiracy related to a military encounter.
Jamtara Season 2
This much awaited Netflix series announced its season 2 in 2021. Since then fans are expecting any news about the release of the series. The series based on social engineering stars Amit Sial, Aksha Pradsany, Dibyendu Bhattacharya and Sparsh Shirivastav and is expected to return in 2022.
Bambai Meri Jaan
Directed by Shujaad Saudagar and an Excel Media and Entertainment production, this upcoming Amazon Prime series will feature Kay Kay Menon, Amayra Dastur, Kritika Kamra and Avinash Tiwary in lead roles. It is a crime thriller story about an honest cop in post Independence India who has to protect the city and his loved ones from the rising crime cases.
Faadu
Faadu will reportedly be a fictional, unique and poetic love story featuring Saiyami Kher and Pavail Gulati. It is Ashwiny Iyer's fictional series debut and its shooting began in November 2021. It is expected to release on Sony Liv in 2022
Gulkanda Tales
This is a new story that will be releasing on Amazon Prime in 2022. The series will star Pankaj Tripathi, Patralekha, Kunal Khemu and Akhandanand Tripathi, famous for his role as Kaleen Bhaiya. Not much is revealed about the plot of the series but the announcement read that it would be 'kinda epic'.
