The Kartik Aaryan, Tabu, and Kiara Advani starrer horror comedy-drama film, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, was released on May 20. Since its debut in May, this has been one of the year's most successful box office films, earning more than 175 crores. The film is slated to make its OTT debut in June, following a successful run in theatres. Here's everything we know about its OTT release schedule.
The film is a sequel to the Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan-led psychological horror-comedy of the same name, released in 2007. Within eight days of its release, the sequel surpassed the 100-crore milestone.
Revolving around a new Rajasthani family, the sequel sees Manjulika's spirit haunting them while Rooh Baba aka Ruhaan Randhawa (Aryan) tries to fight it off. Advani and Tabu grace the screens while Rajpal Yadav is back with more hilarity with his Chhote Pandit. When he meets Sanjay Mishra's Bade Pandit, the slapstick comedy increases manifold. Apart from them, Ashwini Kalsekar, Amar Upadhyay, Milind Gunaji and others also appear in the film. Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, and Tabu were all praised for their performances.
Directed by Anees Bazmee, and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani the film collected nearly Rs 13 crore in the fourth week since its release and has emerged as the second-highest fourth-week grosser, reports stated. It even beat the record of SS Rajamouli's directorial RRR, which had collected Rs. 11.72 cr.

One of the leading platforms has obtained streaming rights to the film. The news broke on Tuesday when they announced the release of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 via social media.
The post read, “We’re singing De Taali, De Taali, De Taali because Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Is Coming Soon." However, the platform did not provide the film's release date on that day. Meanwhile, the most recent update on Friday finally disclosed the superhit sequel's OTT release date.
