Virgin River season 4 will soon be hitting your screens. The popular American romantic drama featuring Alexandra Breckenridge and Martin Henderson in lead roles streams has been renewed for a fourth season and even a fifth one. At least that's what we hear.
Virgin River released its first season in 2019 on December 6 with 10 episodes. The second season streamed in 2020 from November 27 which was again a 10 episode series. The next season, i.e., season 3, consisting of 10 episodes, released on July 9, 2021. And now Virgin River season 4 is the much awaited sequel of the romantic series that will be answering the many questions left unanswered in season 3.

Virgin River series is about a nurse practitioner from Los Angeles, Mel Monroe, moves to a small town, Virgin River to start a new job as an assistant to town doctor Vernon Mullins. Looking at how coldly she was welcomed (actually she wasn't even welcomed) by the residents of the town, she finds it difficult to spend the next one year there. Just when she makes her mind to leave the cold town and its residents, she found a newborn baby abandoned on the front porch of Dr Mullins. The story then drifts into a series of stories and backstories involving pregnancy, abusive and broken relationships, love triangles and a lot more.
The cast and the plot of the series was loved by people around the world. The lead couple Mel and Jack's love story and the twists and progresses it goes through is quite a journey in itself. The performance of every actor in the series is so amiable that you cannot ignore anyone. So far all three seasons of the series lived up to audience's expectations. Similar expectations are made from Virgin River season 4 which was announced after the release of the third one.

Many have wondered if Virgin River is an actual place somewhere in the world. Given how gorgeous the locations are, people watching it have been asking if the place is real. Virgin River is actually a fictitious place named for the sake of the show. It's actually shot in different parts of the United States and Canada. Majority of its shooting has happened in Vancouver considered one of the most picturesque places in the world.

So when is the 4th season out?
The season 4 is already in the making and the shooting for it has been done. Martin Henderson, the actor who plays Jack Sheridan, updated regarding the advancements that the season 4 has reached so far. As per the updates, the post production work of the next season of Virgin River is also complete. Netflix is planning on releasing it somewhere between April-July 2022. And while season 4 is all ready to release, the series is also planning a season 5 as announced back in September 2021.
The series' screenplay has been written by Robyn Carr, Sue Tenney, Jackson Rock, Amy Palmer Robertson, Patrick Moss, Debra Fordham, and Lisa Marie Petersen. The directors of the show are Martin Wood, Gail Harvey, Tim Matheson, Andy Mikita, Jann Turner, and Monika Mitchell. Every episode of the series lasts about 40 to 48 minutes. The show basically follows the new-girl-in-town trope where the female protagonist finds a random bar in small town and gets extra friendly with the bartender. The show's fourth season is much awaited.
